Getting Bigger, Doing Better...

I haven't updated the blog in awhile but I have been slowly making progress on expanding the offerings that are available. From cold spark indoor (non-pyrotechnics) options to building out equipment needed for larger shells, I have been quite busy over the last few weeks.

I have been working on 3" mortar racks and have 4", 5" and 6" racks that I have to complete in the next couple of weeks. One of the things I like about pyrotechnics is that there is always opportunities to learn and build. Most of the equipment needed is too large to send through the mail so to be efficient and cost effective, it's easier to build your equipment yourself.

I'm learning one thing, regardless of how much I think I know, there are always more things to learn, more regulations, more rules, more tricks and most of all more people to meet and get to know. The pyrotechnics community is small and we all have a lot of respect for one another.

Mid Atlantic Fireworks Festival

There is an event coming up where there will be plenty of pyrotechnics for your enjoyment. Coming up 27 April, 2019 you can head to Charlotte Hall, Maryland for the Mid Atlantic Fireworks Festival. A few of the members from the Carolina Pyro's and myself will be setting up to do a quick display for the National Anthem. It will be hard to compete with what Michael Richards did last year (he's straight beast mode) but were gonna make some noise if nothing else. One of the cool things is that I'll be able to start the evenings festivities and then I can sit back and enjoy the other shows!

More Shows

I'll be putting up some announcements on more activity that will be happening in July. I thought my schedule was already nailed down but it looks like there will be more shows than I thought. I am also working a few for some friends that need help that I owe dearly for all their assistance over the last 6 months.

I'll make sure we post some video from MAFF as well as some of the other events that I'll be working over the next couple of months.
